Halloween Inspiration

October 31, 2012

Been so busy lately, so I’m sorry if this post is a bit late for some of you gals going out tonight – hopefully there is still time for you try out some Halloween inspired nail art !

Back to school Hair

September 4, 2012

I love the emphasis placed on hairstyles at the moment because they are just as important when creating a look, just like accessories or shoes! When going back to school or even just out for the weekend it is so easy to always do the same hairstyles and forget that other quick and easy up dos and ponytails exist. Here I have chosen by favourite styles for this A/W, they are simple and will keep your hair neat and tidy. Once you have mastered these, there will be no turning back!

Ralph Lauren – Low and neat ponytail.

Marc by Marc Jacobs – Side parting ponytail.

Valentino – Romantic twist bun.

Jason Wu – Parted bun.

Carolina Herrera – Volumised hair neatly tied back.

Rodarte – Side parted bouffant

Nothing but Nail Art

July 30, 2012

While watching some of the Olympics I noticed how loads of the women athletes have been sporting Olympic themed nails. I thought it was such a subtle yet great way of showing team support that I wanted to do a post on some gorgeous nail art that I have been seeing recently, because golly has it grown in the last year! Festival Hair

July 9, 2012

I think the Top Knot is the best hair style for a festival look..other than a ponytail that is. When secured well it will stay put all day and night. I love it because you are not constantly flicking hair off your face! Here is a lovely tutorial by My Daily.

Summer Blues

April 18, 2012

This summer is all about the pastel shades and especially BLUE, even for the eyes! While this look may not be suitable for every day, it will certainly go down well at a summer beach party.

I just discovered that Topshop do make-up and runway clips on Youtube, as a Topshop fan I was super excited! I found this lovely clip on a brown smokey eye look, which I thought you all might like. Note the halo braid!

Topshop Podcasts is their user name on Youtube. They also have up various catwalk shows from the Spring/Summer collections. However I couldn’t resist showing you this video. Love it!
