Reblondonfridge

March 31, 2016

I have completely fallen in love with Rebecca Maier’s Instagram account Reblondonfridge. Her pictures are so naturally wholesome and the food looks utterly mouth watering – with both sweet and savoury treats to tempt us! She is an Italian food writer living in England, what a winning combination. Definitely one to watch, so take a look :)

LALCOUTURE

March 27, 2016

US based label Lalcouture remind me very much Love & Lemons lingerie – but I would still say they offer their own unique vision. Especially as a lot of the lace bras are sewn by hand and they very much follow themes and inspiration rather than seasonal trends. I love how delicate and feminine their kimonos are, with beautiful colours and fabrics – all of which appears very high quality. Pretty affordable too, so hey go spoil yourself!

Few Moda

Few Moda

Currently loving  Few Moda for their unique and super stylish clothing. Ranging from beautifully structured white shirts to this simply cool crew neck sweater. Check out their jewellery too – very minimalistic. Also currently trending are ‘Effortless’ or ‘Lounge’ trousers, they look so comfortable as well as being incredibly flattering.

thpshop.co

I was intantly struct by the simplicity and modernity of thpshop’s jewellery. They also have a sleek Insta account and website – very monochrome!

Vanessa, the founder of the Haute Pursuit  is the Creative Director of the label and is equally the face of the brand – stunning, i think you will agree.

As well as delicate rings and earring, she sells beautiful bright faux fur jackets. You might have seen Danielle, blogger of Weworewhat (pictured),and Eva Chan wearing the Marigold Faux Fur!

Check them out now!

Adidas Vs Axel Arigato

March 16, 2016

Adidas stan smith AXel Arigato

I have never been a fan of the ‘fashion’ trainer. Trainers are the for the treadmill and they will never be an attractive or elegant shoe. But I love my Supergas! They are a simple tennis style shoe and very versatile. However, in the last few months I have seen these two styles merge, the lace up style plimsole with the trainer.

You only have to make a concious effort to look down when you are walking along the streets and you will notice how many people are wearing their Nike or Adidas originals. You would be shocked! We are literally all following and copying each other without even realising – because who looks down at peoples shoes every second of the day?!

I had never contemplated buying into these big brands until…while casually flicking through my Instagram…I saw the new Adidas Suede Stan Smith collection and fell for the Onix blue grey. I had not seen a style like them before and I was, and I am still trying, to diversify my wardrobe away from all black. I couldn’t stop thinking about them for months! But when I eventually went to try them on, I was left unsure and a bit disappointed. They are much more of a blue grey than I expected and the fact they were Adidas made me feel a bit like a label lover. So I began to research other brands with similar styles, and that led me to Axel Arigato.

They are made from beautiful Italian suede and leather, with a classic style and shape. Colours range from black to soft sand for the coming spring months. You can choose between toe cap, platform, classic, slip on etcc, the list goes on. There is even fur or ostrich embossed! The whole aesthetic of Axel Arigato is so much more appealing to me than Adidas – a bit more feminine and stylish, rather than ‘cool’ and sporty. The only thing is their prices – you pay around £50.00 more for Arigatos than for the Adidas. In my opinion you are most likely paying for higher quality.

So which shall I choose..?

Aubergine Fritters

December 5, 2015

So incredibly delicious and so incredibly easy to make! Who knew just mashed up aubergine, seasoning, parsley and garlic could be so scrummy – add melted mozzarella and it is a dream come true. Although the only isue, as with all fritters, is they are fried in veg oil, so not the healthiest of options but you can always replace it with coconut oil. Which is, as you can imagine, non existent here in Italy. Really, give these a go! Another rice dish on the way
